Domiciliary Care     [top]

• Live-In Care - where Kiara Personnel can provide a trained, experienced carer to be on hand 24 hours a day. This way a service user can retain their independence knowing that, should they need help, it is there.
• Hospital Discharge - Help and support at times of need on discharge from hospitals and support on the road to recovery.
• Palliative Care – Care giving to someone who has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and providing comfort and support to both the individual and their families to maintain a happy home.
• Dementia - Regular and repetitive care services that will make a positive difference to the experience of individuals with dementia.

Care for Older People

Meeting the care needs of those members of the community who wish to remain in the safety and comfort of their own homes. Kiara Personnel will ensure that you retain as much independence as is individually possible, providing the level of care that is right for you. Services include:

• Domestic Help – Assisting with day-to-day tasks such as shopping, cleaning, laundry, and other household tasks.
• Personal Care – Help with activities such as bathing, getting dressed, and other aspects of personal or intimate care.
• Maintaining Help – Helping to maintain health and dietary requirements e.g. meal preparation, monitoring and assistance with medication.
• Social Companionship – Being there to provide reassurance and companionship and to promote relationships, ie, accompanying to social activities, assistance with leisure activities.

Learning Disabilities

Valuing, empowering, enabling and supporting people with learning difficulties to help them live their lives as fully and independently as possible within their homes.

Kiara Personnel will create and deliver a package of care that is service user - centred and meets the individual needs of the service user.

Our service users are privately funded or funded by Direct Payments.

Somali Home Care Project    [top]

There are many people who have emigrated from Somalia to London and have settled here for a number of years. This aging community is hard to reach due to the language barrier. Many of them do not receive all they are entitled to, including home care for the elderly and physically disabled.

We have a workforce made up of younger people who have immigrated to the UK from Somalia and whose first language is Somali. All of our staff are trained at least to NVQ level 2 and provide people from Somali communities with health care services. This project reaches out to people who may not ordinarily have access to care.

Through the Direct Payment Scheme run by local social services departments, service users can fund themselves to receive care from the Somali Home Care Project.

This project has also provided people, who were in receipt of state benefits for many years, the opportunity to start working.

We have a wealth of experience in supporting people with mental health needs in the following areas:

• Daily living skills (including budgeting, cooking, cleaning)

Human Resources    [top]

We can solve your staffing needs by providing well trained staff to your care home, day centre or supported housing scheme.

We provide staff to services who work with the following:

• People with mental health support needs
• People with Learning Disabilities
• Elderly People
• Physically disabled people
• EMI

Cleaning    [top]

We have a team of cleaners for long or short term contracts at very competitive rates. All of our cleaning staff either have or are working towards the ‘Cleaning and Support Services’ NVQ.
